Check whether

– the cooking zone has overheated.

switch off the appropriate cooking zone and let it cool down. Try

switching on the cooking zone again using a suitable pan after a few

minutes.

– the automatic switch-down for the cooking zone has triggered.

You can reactivate the cooking zone by switching it off and on brief-

ly.

… the power function cannot be switched on?

– Switch off the cooking zone for approx. 10 minutes.

If this fault occurs repeatedly, check

– whether the requisite ventilation gap between the work surface and

the cabinet panel underneath it has been covered over.

– that a sufficiently large ventilation gap was maintained under the

work surface when the appliance was installed (5 mm).
